Do I have a say in what my final results look like?

I saw a dentist a few weeks ago for an Invisalign consultation and agreed to proceed with the Invisalign treatment. He took moulds of my teeth and said that the treatment would begin in a couple of weeks.

I did some research since then and looking at the Invisalign site, it seems that Invisalign send final result videos and Clinicheck videos to the dentist which can be modified by the patient if he wishes for them to be modified before the treatment begins.

However I was not offered any say in the final results and simply told to pay a deposit and begin treatment when the trays are ready. I am now having second thoughts about going through with the treatment now and wish I had gone somewhere else where I could have a bit more input into my treatment.

Do the Invisalign dentists at Pearl dental clinic allow me to have any say in my final results before the treatment begins? Do you show me my Clincheck and videos before the treatment begins?

At Pearl we firstly consider your treatment goals for an improved smile at the consultation and if invisalign is the treatment of choice we provide you a treatment plan. The first stage of invisalign treatment is the invisalign clincheck video. Orthodontic records are taken and sent to california where the clincheck videos are generated.

Usually within 1 month the video is ready and we e-mail the video and before/after photos to you. You can give us feedback and if possible we will modify the treatment to meet your request. Most of the time you are very happy with the results planned and the clincheck video is accepted. You can also book a clincheck review appointment and come and discuss the invisalign treatment in detail. We prefer to see you and show you the clincheck views which are impressive.

At Pearl we only order the aligners once you have seen the clincheck video and have fully accepted the proposed treatment. At this stage the main payment for invisalign treatment is taken and the aligners ordered.
