What is an Inman aligner?

I have spaces between my front teeth and I am looking at ways of getting these spaces closed. I have discussed with my own dentist what options are available to me and he suggested braces and Invisalign.

I am not interested in braces because I think I am too old for braces and Invisalign sounds like a much better idea. Doing some research I came across Inman aligner. I had a few questions regarding Inman aligners.

What exactly is an Inman aligner? Is it invisible like Invisalign? Is it as discreet and small as Invisalign? Do your patients usually have treatment with Inman aligners or Invisalign?

Thank you for your post. The inman aligner is a custom orthodontic appliance that generate continuous forces that straighten out the front teeth.

Inman aligners are not invisible and metal springs, bars and plastic can show. Inman aligners are not very discreet and are not as comfortable as invisalign.

Most patients prefer to have invisalign as its nearly invisible, comfortable and removable. The advantage of inman aligners is that its a fast treatment for straightening teeth however it is not advised to move teeth quickly. Lighter and continuous forces are more effective and better for the health of the teeth and supporting structures.
