Twisted teeth

Hi

I have two twisted teeth at the top front of my mouth, which I don't like and would like to straighten. I have looked into metal braces but I don't think I could have them put on my teeth with the job that I do involving talking to people all day.

I saw Invisalign on your invisalign treatment page and would like to know if it could straighten twisted teeth? If it can, how long will the treatment take from start to finish?

Are there any risks associated with straightening teeth that are twisted? My friend had her teeth fixed with metal braces and said she could not wait for the braces to come off because they were so bulky and difficult to clean. But I assume that with Invisalign the braces are invisible and could be removed for cleaning. Please advise.

Twisted teeth can be treated by Invisalign and corrected and aligned. How long it will take depends on the the severity and how complicated the case is. You will benefit from a consultation and clinical assessment for more accurate information and we would be happy to see you and assess your case.
But as rough guide orthodontic treatment usually take anything from 6 months to 18 months depending on the complexity of the case but yours will be of the shorter range I believe.

There are almost no risk with straightening of the teeth and there are no metal braces in Invisalign. There are aligners to be used which are made from clear plastic and they are easily removed for cleaning and maintenance.
