Ceramic braces

Hi

I would like my teeth to be a bit more straight and I have been doing some research into the different brace systems available. I have come across ceramic braces and Invisalign and have read some good reviews on both systems. So I am not sure which one would be better for my case.

I would like to know what is the difference between ceramic braces and Invisalign? Which of these two brace systems is more invisible and would I be able to remove both of these systems when I am eating or brushing my teeth?

Also do ceramic braces cost more than Invisalign or normal metal braces?

Thank you for your question.

The ceramic braces are the conventional orthodontic braces which instead of metal braces have ceramic braces on the teeth and these are tooth coloured and aesthetically much better and less visible. The only metal part in these is the wire itself.

Invisalign braces are metal free with plastic aligners and almost invisible to the eyes. They are one of the most aestically acceptable system. Of course they have their limits and not suitable for all the cases but most cases are suitable and treatable by Invisalign.

Ceramic braces are more expensive than metal braces and neither of them can be removed when cleaning the teeth where as Invisalign braces are removable when brushing, eating or even drinking.
