Invisalign vs braces

Hi

I am 25 years old and I am considering Invisalign to straighten my teeth and been comparing it with braces as a treatment option for straightening my teeth over the past few weeks.

I would like to know when comparing Invisalign vs braces which option is quicker and which option would be more cost effective. I would like an option that is invisible but if Invisalign is a lot more expensive and slower than braces, then maybe I should go for the braces option.

I would appretiate your opinion on this.

The average invisalign case takes 1 year to complete. Traditional fixed braces can take upto 2 years to complete. However the severe and complex invisalign cases can take upto 16 months or even longer to complete. Each case can be categorised into mild, moderate and severe. Invisalign is ideal for treating mild and moderate cases. Fixed braces are best for severe cases. So in summary each case is assessed individually and advised accordingly.

Again the cost of orthodontic treatment will vary depending on the severity of the case. The cost of invisalign and braces is usually the same and at Pearl Dental Clinic invisalign starts from £1450.
