Teeth straightening options

Hi

Im 17 and recently visited my local dentist to find out my options for straightening out my tooth, however, i have now found out that i do not qualify to get a brace or any treatment under the NHS anymore so am now trying to find the cheapest way possible.

My teeth are all straight apart from one tooth on the top left which is slanted. I have been told about invisalign although im just wondering if there would be any other method of straightening it out seeing as it is only one tooth.

Teeth can be straightened in many different ways. Traditioanlly fixed braces were used and in the past 10 years there has been a great increase in clear brace systems. The following are a list of ways teeth can be straightened

1) Invisalign
2) Aesthetic Fixed Appliance
3) Removable Appliance e.g. Inman Aligner

An Inman Aligner may be able to straighten your tooth however they are not as aesthetic and comfortable as Invisalign.

A Sectional Fixed Appliance may also be suitable and there advantage is they cover fewer teeth however again they are not as aesthetic and comfortable as Invisalign.

Only a orthodontic consultation and full assessment will determine your options and there advantages and disadvantages.
