How do I get started with my Invisalign treatment?

I have been looking at straightening my teeth for a very long time but just been putting it off because I did not wish to wear ugly train tracks.

Having been to several practices for Invisalign consultations, I have decided that I wish to get started with Invisalign treatment at your clinic. Could you tell me what I need to do to start my Invisalign treatment at Pearl.

I am glad to hear you have chosen our clinic to have your Invisalign treatment with.

Following the consultation appointment we will book you 45mins appointment with our Invisalign dentist within 1-2 weeks. In the second appointment we will take all the records we need and Invisalign require to begin planning your Invisalign treatment. I will now give to a brief summary of these records.

Full upper and lower PVS impressions are taken. This consists of highly accurate full upper and lower PVS impressions. A full arch PVS bite registration is taken with the teeth in contact. The PVS impressions is a very critical stage in the patient treatment process as all teeth movements are planned from these impressions.

Eight colour photographs, are taken when submitting cases to Invisalign.
3–4 Extra-oral (facial frontal smiling, repose and profile) and 5 Intra-oral (anterior, L/R buccal, U/L occlusals).

A Panoramic x-ray is then taken. We use a highly accurate digital panoramic x-ray machine.

We now have all the records. A Prescription & Diagnosis Form is completed online (Virtual Invisalign Practice) and the records are shipped to Invisalign in a submission kit. 7–10 working days from case submission your ClinCheck is available for us to approve. We will then see you for the third appointment to discuss your treatment in detail.
