Teeth starting to push together after removal of braces

Hello

I had train track braces for almost 2 years and when my orthodontist removed the braces, my teeth looked great and I was very pleased with them.

Unfortunately now my teeth are starting to push together after removal of the braces and I am worried that this could get worst. Is there anything that I could do to stop my teeth from pushing together and becoming crowded?

This is a very common situation that can arise after orthodontic treatment.

Following orthodontic treatment, teeth can relapse which is return partly or completely to there original position. This is because our teeth are sorrounded with fibres which are elastic and tend to pull teeth back like springs. To prevent this from occurring we hold teeth in there final position with retainers.
