Default What is the difference between Invisalign and 6 months smiles?

    Hi

I would like to have my teeth straightened as I am not happy at how my front teeth overlap each other. I have been to see two dentsits and have been given two options of having Invisalign or 6 months smiles. One dentist said that he would always recommend Invisalign over 6 months smiles and the other said he does not provide Invisalign. I am not sure which one would be the better treatment for me. Could you tell me what is the difference between Invisalign and 6 months smiles and which one is likely to give better end results. Also as I work a lot with clients, I would prefer to have the brace option thats likely to change my speech the least. Please advise.

    many thanks.

Invisalign is a clear aligner removable orthodontic system whereas 6 month smiles is a lab made fixed clear brace orthodontic system. Invisalign aligners do not have any brackets and wires, whereas braces do. This makes Invisalign more discreet that 6 month smiles. There are advantages and disadvantages with both systems. Without seeing you I cant tell you which system will work or not work in your case and would recommend that you book a consultation visit if you like for us to let you know.
