hi, when i was a teenager, nearly 20 years ago, i was told that because in between my gap there was a little gum coming too below the gum line that i would need to have it removed. This has put me off since. What are the procedures today and are they safe?

I think you are referring to a prominent Frenum which can be easily trimmed with a Frenectomy procedure using a soft tissue laser. Its a painless procedure and only needs local anaesthetic to numb the soft tissues.

That is interesting!!! I will definately go for it then. Over years ago I saw few swollen stitched lips and I chose not to join my teeth. What an improvement! Thanks for letting me know, I will book an appointment asap. Will you advise what is the best brace for me or invisalign or should I know what I want beforehand?

Its difficult to say without seeing your teeth. We provide invisalign invisible aligners but for teeth straightening you can also have fixed braces or fixed braces on the inside of your teeth (lingual braces) and also other removable appliances in some cases. Best to do some research and see which system you prefer to have and then have a consultation to see if that system will work for your case.
