    Arrow lost Invisalign tray

    Hello

I am currently on my number 10 invisalign tray and got another 5 invisalign trays to go to finish my invisalign treatment, but unfortunately my upper invisalign tray was lost during a night out last night. I am worried that my teeth will drift back again. What should I do at this point? Can the lost Invisalign tray be remade and what do I do in the mean time?

If you had just begun to use aligner number 10 and then you lost it, you need to go back to wearing your number 9 upper aligner immediately and contact your dentist and ask them to reorder upper aligner number 10 from invisalign. You will probably have to pay a charge (~£100) for this.

If you had worn your aligner 10 for say around 10 days and then you lost it, you can try to see if aligner 11 fits and if it does fit, you can start aligner 11 now.

The above is the advice that I give my own patients, you should ask your own dentist for advice on this one as each case is different.
