Invisalign has time limits for refinements

Hi,

I have been having invisalign to straighten my teeth for a while now but due to some health problem I had to delay my treatment for 7 months. When I went back to my invisalign orthodontist she said that Invisalign might not do the refinements as it had been so long. I was informed that Invisalign will only accept me as a new customer now due to the delay. I was very dissapointed. Do you know if anything can be done so I don't need to pay again as it is a lot of money for me?

Hi Angeline,

Invisalign have a time limit for refinements and they estimate the case to be completed within 6 months after the expected completion date. The expected completion date depends on the individual case. For the Invisalign Full product upto 3 refinements can be done and they may be charge for additional refinements from your Invisalign doctor. If Invisalign have closed the case there is a charge for reopening it.
