    Question Invisalign attachment

    Hello

I had my Invisalign attachments placed yesterday and one of them at the back I think, came off when I removed my top aligner for the first time. Its white and rectangular. Do I need to call my invisalign clinic to inform them or can I just wait till my next appointment to have it reattached. Some advise would be much appreciated.

    Hi Caleb,

The loss of an attachment during Invisalign treatment is an orthodontic emergency and contacting your Invisalign clinic at the earliest opportunity is necessary. Your Invisalign dentist will be able to rebond a new attachment and this will ensure the required tooth movements are expressed by the aligners.
