    Lightbulb what to do??

    Hi

I am finishing Invisalign treatment on my uppers on the 27th of December. Will my Invisalign doctor take the attachments off if you are done on the top, but not the bottom? Or will they leave them on until my bottom is completely done?
Also, if I am not fully satisfied with the outcome on the uppers, can I start with refinements on the top only? I would hate to wait another 6 months to finish where I left off. What can be done?

    Thank you for your post.

Invisalign refinements are ordered when both arch treatments are completed. At that point before the new impressions are taken for refinement, all of the previous attachments are removed. If the initial treatment on the upper jaw is complete but the lower jaw treatment is not yet completed, you will be asked to wear your last upper aligner or have a temporary upper retainer until the lower jaw treatment is complete. At that point full mouth invisalign refinement can begin.
