Is it possible to drink fizzy drinks with Invisalign

Hi

My front teeth are quite crooked and I saw my dentist who suggested using Invisalign to straighten my front teeth instead of having to wear ugly metal braces. I personally would like to avoid metal braces if at all possible.

My dentist told me that when I am eating and cleaning my teeth, I would need to remove my invisalign clear braces. The only problem I have is that I often drink cola during the day as I am working especially if its a hot day.

I would like to know, if it is possible to drink fizzy drinks with invisalign or would I need to remove my Invisalign clear braces every time I drink fizzy drinks?

You would need to remove your aligners to drink sugary or fizzy drinks. If not the aligners are not removed, you increase the risk of caries, acid erosion or staining.
I would recommend you to drink water or Sugar free soft drinks with your aligners on to maximize the time your have your aligners on. You should also avoid hot drinks when you have your aligners on.
