What is Invisalign lite?

Hello

I have been to see a dentist regarding getting my front tooth straightened and he suggested having Invisalign lite to straighten that tooth and said it is going to be cheaper than full Invisalign. Are there any disadvantages in having Invisalign lite compared to full invisalign and will I get all the benefits of full Invisalign with Invisalign lite?

Invisalign Lite is reserved for very simple cases where the results can be achieved with less than 15 aligners (20 weeks) and hence its cheaper than Invisalign full. Very few cases can be completed with Invisalign Lite but if your case is so simple, then Invisalign Lite might be the solution for you.
