Invisalign G3 – Invisalign’s next generation

Hi

I have started Invisalign for 2 months now and I have become used to it very quickly and my orthodontist says my treatment is going to plan.I recently heard about Invisalign G3. Can you tell me more about it and does this mean that I can take advantage of the new G3 technology during my refinement stage. Will I need to pay more to have the new invisalign technology?

- Can treat Class II and Class III patients
- Is improving your workflow
- Has tools to improve communication

Improving Predictability

Invisalign G3 has SmartForce features including new power ridges, improvements to power ridges, new optimised attachments and improvements to optimised attachments.

Treating Class II and Class III patients

Precision cuts which are pre-cut aligners designed for use with inter-arch elastics are being introduced. This provides a convenient feature for treating patients with Class II and Class III malocclusions.

Improving your workflow

Passive aligners have been introduced which are aligners without programmed movements, paired with an active aligner on the opposite arch. This ensures equal number of aligners on both arches without requiring to slow down tooth movements in arch with shorter treatment time. IPR and attachment placement can be delayed.

Tools to improve communication

These new features help doctors improve their communication with the new Invisalign ClinCheck 3.0 software and technician.

Invisalign G3 is engineered to deliver even better clinical results. It is currently not available in the UK, and we hope it will be soon. You should speak to your Invisalign orthodontist to see if you can take advantage of the new G3 technology during refinement and if it will cost additional. At Pearl we don't charge extra for refinement.
