    Lightbulb Can teenagers have Invisalign?

My son is 13 years old and his dentist has advised the train track braces to fix his teeth. I have been looking into invisible braces and in particular invisalign. Can my son have invisalign braces instead of the usual metal braces?

Thumbs up Can teenagers have Invisalign?

    Thank you for your post.

    The simple answer is yes.

Align Technology has developed 'Invisalign Teen' specifically for teenagers usually between the ages of 12 and 18. In some cases, traditional metal braces may be a better option still, however this is something our Invisalign Dentist can advise you regarding, once he has seen the patient clinically and assessed their case.

If you are seriously considering Invisalign Teen as an option for your son, we would recommend coming to see one of our experienced Invisalign Dentists for a free consultation.

Appointments for free consultation are available most days, the best being Sundays and Mondays. If you would like to arrange an appointment or have any further queries, please feel free to contact our reception team on one of the numbers below.
