    Wink Prominent chin

I am 35 years old and I always hated my prominent chin. Recently I heard it is possible to have it corrected with braces. Even more, I would like to have invisible ones. Please let me know if this is possible and give me details about the length of treatment and the number of visits. If not, what are my alternative options?

In many cases the position of the teeth and of the lower jaw towards the upper jaw can affect the aspect of the chin, making it look more or less proeminent. If this is your case, it can be corrected with braces, very likely possible even with Invisalign.

Of course, we would have to see you for a consultation in order to tell you if it applies for you or not, the length of your treatment and the number of visits.

In rare cases, the abnormal anatomycal growth of the lower jaw makes the correction possible only through surgical approach. In this alternative case, you will have to see a oro-maxillo-facial surgeon for your treatment.
