Switch from metal braces to Invisalign?

My teeth are very crowded and I had metal braces fitted two months ago. Now my gums are swollen, red and bleeding and the braces are very difficult to clean. I would like to switch to Invisalign. Is that possible in the middle of the braces treatment?

Yes it is possible, but not always. Some cases can only be resolved with fixed braces. If your treatment can be done with Invisalign, of course it is possible to change from fixed braces to Invisalign for an extra-cost.
