    Exclamation Alternatives to Invisalign

    Halo

I have crooked lower front teeth that have become crooked since my wisdom teeth started to come through. At the time the wisdom teeth were not causing any pain so I left them as they were but it has now caused a lot of crowding of my lower front teeth and this is bothering me.

I have heard that Invisalign could straighten my teeth and I am hoping that if I remove my wisdom teeth and have Invisalign, it could straighten my teeth.

I would like to know if there any alternatives to invisalign? I am only aware of Invisalign and the metal braces and don't know if there are any other options available to me. I would like to go with an option that has been tested and shown to work well.

Invisalign seems great but a bit pricey for me at the moment. Are there any cheaper alternatives to invisalign? If Invisalign is better than the alternatives, would I be able to spread the cost of my treatment say over a year just to make it more affordable.

    Post Alternatives to Invisalign

    Dear Billy,

    Thanks for your post.

Firstly it is not a requirement to have wisdom teeth removed before invisalign. The teeth and gums need to be healthy before invisalign can be started however.

Alternative treatments are many, however no system has treated the vast number of cases that Invisalign have. Invisalign, the clear alternative to braces, has been chosen by over 500,000 people. Alternative orthodontic systems include:

    1) Clearstep
    2) Inman Aligner
    3) Orthocaps
    4) Powerprox Six Month Braces

Invisalign can be a little pricey however all effective and safe orthodontic techniques will be more expensive than the new untested and untrialled systems in the market currently.

At Pearl Dental Clinic you can spread the cost of your Invisalign treatment over the duration of the treatment which is usually 1 year. We also have finance plans which are available over 1-5 years. Finance for 1 year has 0% APR.

In summary if you are suitable to have Invisalign it is likely to be the most effective treatment and certainly one of the most invisible systems out there.
