Arrow Can you fix my closed bite with Invisalign?

    Hi

I suffer from a closed bite that my own dentist wanted to treat when I was a teenager but at that time it was not as bad it is now and so I did not have any treatment and now regret it looking back. I have seen an orthodentist last month, who said he could solve the problem with train track braces. But I am 29 and prefer not to have any metal braces on my teeth. I read that Invisalign can fix closed bites in some cases but wasn't sure how long it will take and what it will entail. Can you confirm that Invisalign can correct a closed bite and how long it will take to have the full treatment? Roughly how much will Invisalign treatment cost in my case?

Question Can you fix my closed bite with Invisalign?

Invisalign can correct closed bites depending on the case. I guess your overbite must be increased and this will need to be reduced with Invisalign. By doing an Invisalign clincheck programme is the only way that we can accurately find out how long your closed bite Invisalign treatment will take but on average Invisalign treatment takes between 9-15 months and costs start from £1450 at Pearl dental clinic.

Smile Can you fix my closed bite with Invisalign?

    Hi Silvana,

I am assuming you are talking about a deep bite. Deep bites can be treated well with invisalign as the mechanics of the plastic aligners enable teeth to be pushed into the bone and therefore reduce or completely correct a deep bite. The length of any invisalign case is determined by the computer animation generated by invisalign also known as clincheck. The average invisalign case takes 12 months and is individual to every person. To find out the cost of your invisalign treatment we need to see you for a free consultation.
