    Post Can Invisalign reduce overjet?

    Hi

I have been told by my dentist that I have a large overjet which makes my top front teeth stick out. I think my overjet has been increased pretty much since those my top front teeth came through because I remember being teased about them in the school playground. When I was a teenager the orthodontist suggested doing something about it but I didn't to have anything done because it wasn't cool. I would like my top front teeth to be pushed in and my overjet reduced but I dont know if Invisalign can provide this for me? Or do I have to go down the route of metal braces?

    Default Can Invisalign reduce overjet?

    Hi,

    Thank you for your question.

Invisalign can be a very effective way to bring the top front teeth back when they are stuck out, hence reducing the overjet. We have achieved excellent result before by this mean and I am sure we can do it again.

Having said this all cases very from each other and patients teeth need to be seen and assessed clinically in order to be able to tell what can be achieved and how long will take to do and the cost involved. We would be very happy to see you and do it for you in a free consulttion.
