Invisalign and grinding teeth

I would like to have Invisalign treatment but I grind my teeth at night and have been given a nightguard by my dentist to wear during my sleep to stop me from clenching and grinding my teeth and damaging them.

Is this nightguard compatible with invisalign treatment?

Invisalign will also work as a night guard and you would not need to wear the one
you have.
If we see that you still need a night guard we will make you one that you
can use with Invisalign aligners and can be modified as your teeth change.
