Can I get Invisalign if I already have veneers?

Hi

I have four veneers on my front teeth and would like to get my teeth straightened. At the moment some of my teeth stand out when I smile and the alignment is not correct.

I had to have veneers on my front teeth, because I had an accident a few years back and chipped the edges of my front teeth and the dentist recommended having veneers so that they can look normal again.

Do you think Invisalign will be able to straighten my teeth even though some of them have veneers on them? Ideally I was hoping to get all of my teeth straightened and then have my veneers changed to better looking veneers and whiten the rest of my teeth.

If Invisalign can straighten teeth that have veneers on them, can I at the same time whiten the rest of my teeth with the invisalign invisible braces?

Invisalign is a clear removable brace system that can move teeth with veneers and crowns. It can't move bridges or implants. Invisalign invisible braces will straighten the teeth and then the veneers will need to be changed as they will be overlapping. It may then be necessary to make final preparation adjustments to the front teeth before the new veneers are cemented.

Before the new veneers are made and cemented you will need to whiten your teeth with the home whitening kit. The new veneers will be matched to your new whitened smile.
