Question How long before the effects of Invisalign become apparent?

    Hi

I am considering getting my teeth straightened using Invisalign and to correct my crowded teeth. The position of my teeth look similar to the first case on your invisalign 1 gallery.

The main reason for getting Invisalign is that I am getting married in twelve months and my girlfriend would like my teeth to be as straight as possible for our wedding photos.

Could you tell me how long it would take for the effects of Invisalign to become apparent and is the Invisalign treatment likely to have my teeth in a nice position in twelve months?

I don't mind if the whole invisalign process is not finished by my wedding day as long as I can see some visible improvements in my smile by then. Is that possible with Invisalign?

Smile How long before the effects of Invisalign become apparent?

    Hello Stuart,

    Thank you for your post.

Invisalign has many advantages and being able to remove the aligners is one. It is also not noticeable with the aligners in which is a major positive.

The average invisalign case takes 1 year to complete, but cases can take as little as 5 months to complete too. You will start seeing an improvement and the crowded teeth straightening after 6 months if your case takes 1 year to do. From the invisalign video you can see when the effects of invisalign will become apparent. The Invisalign treatment will move your teeth to a nice position in twelve months. Offcourse if your teeth need a lot of straightening it can take a bit longer to finish nicely.

You will see a visible improvement in your smile before your wedding day and being removable you can take them out for your wedding day. The invisalign consultation at Pearl will confirm if you are suitable for invisalign treatment and the invisalign process will be discussed. You can see some of the cases we have finished in our invisalign gallery section.
