    Lightbulb Treatment for bruxism

In the last couple of weeks I have noticed that my teeth have become more sensitive when I drink cold water. I have been to see my dentist and he explained to me that I have tooth attrition.

He suggested that tooth attrition and tooth wear can happen if teeth are rubbed against each other at night excessively and said I might be suffering from bruxism.

I have spoken to my wife but she says that I make some noises with my teeth when I am sleeping most nights. My dentist says that if I grind me teeth, I should have a night guard made to stop bruxism damaging my teeth further.

I have seen pictures of night guards on the internet and they look very bulky and I dont know if I will be wear a bulky night guard at night. Are there any other treatments for bruxism other than wearing a night guard?

    Arrow Treatment for bruxism

These days we also can make you NTi-tss splints which are much smaller than bulky traditional night guards and you may find that your compliance improves with NTI-tss splints. In the end of a day a bulky night guard that is never worn will not be able to help stop your teeth grinding.
