Grinding teeth

I always grind my teeth when i am sleeping, and my grinding teeth is now really getting on my partners nerves!

Can you tell me what i can do to get rid of this problem. Also i have sensitive teeth and yellow teeth. Is that related to my grinding teeth? Thanks

Grinding teeth is a habit that many people suffer from and unfortunately it can be very destructive of tooth tissue causing tooth wear which may eventually lead to the loss of tooth surface enamel and exposure of dentine underneath and as dentine is yellow and tubular, your teeth will look yellow and may become sensitive.

The solution is to have a consultation to assess your teeth and have a nightguard constructed, perhaps a NTi-tss splint to help protect your teeth from further wear and then look at rebuilding the teeth that have worn down.
