How much is a ceramic crown?

I wonder if you can advise me. I have recently had a molar tooth root canal treatment. My dentist has said that the tooth is weak and need a crown. He suggested that I go for an all ceramic crown.

It is very expensive, so before I decide I need a second opinion. Does my root treated tooth really need a crown? Why should I go for a all ceramic crown and not the cheaper metal ceramic crown?

Please let me know also if you offer ceramic crowns and how much you charge?

Its usually better to crown root filled teeth to prevent tooth fracture and provide the best seal for the root canal filling.

All ceramic crowns generally look better than metal ceramic crowns aesthetically but its your choice which material you wish to have as your crown.
