    Question Bad mouth smell

I have recently very embarrassingly been told by several people that I have a bad mouth smell.

I have always brushed twice a day, and don’t eat much sugar in my diet. However I must admit my teeth often bleed on brushing and i don’t like to go to the dentist regularly.

I am 42 years old. Please let me know what I should do as it is interfering with my social life. Is there any treatment for bad mouth smells or any special mouthwash that I should use?

    Smile Bad mouth smell

Halitosis can be caused by many different things, one of which is poor oral hygiene and decay and gum problems. If your gums bleed on brushing, you probably have gum problems that need to be assessed and treated.

I would recommend that you book for a checkup with your dentist, to allow him to examine your teeth and gums and provide you with a plan to sort out the halitosis.
