I have always had a problem with very brittle teeth ever since I was a kid, is it something Iím doing or is it just natural?
My dad has had similar problems and my mum said to me that it was only because of genetics and there was nothing I could do about it. The thing is my half-sisters did not live in the same house as me and I think they had a very different diet to me. I really donít think it can be a coincidence that I have really bad teeth and so does my mum, when my sisters grew up with a different mum and had a very different diet. Their teeth are fine and I have constant problems with mine breaking and falling apart. I am not trying to blame my parents but it seems like there is a link there to me. We all eat quite a lot of sugar and growing up it was considered normal to have toothache from time to time, even though me and my brother never really brushed our teeth or went to the dentist.
Anyway, thatís my life storyÖ Is there something I am missing in my diet that might make a difference to how strong my teeth are? I am so sick of having brittle teeth that break at a moments notice. What can you suggest?
