    Exclamation Swimming dentures

    Hi

I am a keen swimmer and I find that when I am swimming, most of the time I am worried that my dentures will come out whilst I am in the water. I would like to know if there are any swimming dentures available that would stay in the mouth even when swimming?

    Thumbs down Swimming dentures

As far as I know there are no special swimming dentures available. I guess if your denture is loose, your dentist needs to find ways of increasing its retention.

Denture Retention can be increased either by adding clasps or implants or if this is not possible, you could try denture adhesive to improve the denture retention.
