Default Crown dentistry - how long does it take?

    Hi,

I'm aware I need to undergo a crown dentistry but I was wondering how long does it take to fit crowns in? How man appointments are involved?

    Thanks

Thank you for your post Leaon.

A crown can take between 1-2 weeks to be made by the dental laboratory depending on the type of crown. There is usually one visit where the tooth is prepared and impressions are taken and the tooth is temporized and a second visit where the dental crown is fitted. For cosmetic front crowns, you may also need to go to the lab for one visit for the tooth shade to be taken.
