Hello!
I had a filling done on my 26th tooth, and it started to hurt, so they did a root treatment. First the doctor found three roots and left anaesthetic there for a couple of days and then filled the roots with gutta percha.
I was still in pain. Then the doctor removed gutta percha and found one more root, which he cleaned out. As I had to leave the country the next day, he said he couldn't leave antiseptic in the roots again for a few weeks, so he filled them all with calcium.
The tooth was fine for a few days, but recently I went in pain again. It hurts if I chew on it, if I knock, and it doesn't ache much, but well enough to drive me mad. Is there a sign of some infection left or can the tooth start reacting to calcium? What can I do to reduce the pain? I am visiting my family in London and going back to my country in three weeks only...![]()
Thank you! Anna.
PS. Please find attached the xray taken after the first root filling.
