    Hello Sir/Madam,
I have been having intense pains stemming from my wisdom tooth area top and bottom to the point of wanting to down all the pain killer pills at once in the hope of alleviating me of this plight!
I went to a dentist based in Cambridge round about & said I'm in need of repairing quickly of which the response was "we will set up an appointment for you in a month and a half time"!!!
I'm currently not working and am on job seekers allowance can you please guide me for the quickest route to get this sorted - its driving me mad!!! Thanks.

    Thank you for your post.

If you need urgent treatment for your wisdom teeth on the NHS and your local dentist has a long waiting list, the quickest way would be to go to a dental A&E department at your local hospital. I dont know the cambridge area but in London, people would go to Kings college or Guys hospital dental A&E department.

Alternatively you could contact your local NHS primary care trust and find out what provisions they have for urgent wisdom tooth extractions/treatment.
