    Default bad dentures

    Good afternoon

I had a pair of dentures made by my nhs dentist about three months ago. Unfortunately the dentures don't feel very comfortable and I find that I have to use a lot of denture glue to keep the dentures from falling out of my mouth.

I would like to know if anything can be done to improve bad dentures short of changing them? I paid about £200 for these dentures, so I dont wish to get rid of them and would like some advice on any practical steps that can be taken to improve them?

    Thank you for your post.

Without seeing your dentures its difficult for me to say if they can be improved or not. Its possible to reline dentures that dont fit very well with soft or hard reline and this usually helps. If the denture is unstable because of the occlusion, we may be able to adjust the denture teeth occlusion to improve that. Otherwise if these actions do not work, they you may need a denture remake.
