    Thumbs down Very bad teeth

Hi, I have many very bad teeth. Many of them are rotten, brown and chipped away. Every so often I am in pain from one of my back teeth. My back teeth look too far gone to be kept even some of them look like they might come out by themselves. I now find it difficult to chew on my back teeth. What should I do? Do you think I will need dentures?

If you have very badly decayed teeth that cant be restored, they should be removed as they would be potential sources of infection and that can cause damage to bone. Wearing dentures with free end saddles (ones that extend right to the back of the jaw) is not the most comfortable thing and many patients dont like wearing such dentures. Dental implants would be a good alternative subject to bone availability. There is research that suggests patients who do not have any molars can manage to chew sufficiently by just using their incisors, canines and premolars.
However once the back broken down teeth are removed, bone will start to resorb in that area and you may find that you may need bone grafting in that region should you decide to have dental implants a few years later.

Listen, you have a lot of issues with your teeth. We can give you advice how to fix your molars, premolars or whichever type of tooth that's in pain but it will only delay everything. My advice is that you go to a nearest dentist and have him/her take a look at it. There's no better way for a dentist to help you fix your teeth than having to see it for him/herself. For now, try not to sue your back teeth. Go see a dentist as soon as you can please.

Bad breath often strikes when people aren't properly taking care of their oral health. The odor is usually caused by decaying food particles and bacteria in your mouth. That's why brushing and flossing your teeth is so important, but don't forget to gently brush your tongue to get rid of even more bacteria...
