Hi
I have two gold crowns on my back teeth that were made at least 20 years ago and now my dentist says that these crowns need to be replaced because some bacteria has managed to get underneath them and rotted those teeth. He has quoted £600 per crown and at the moment spending that sort of money is difficult to justify. However I don't want to leave these teeth to get worst, so I would like to have these teeth fixed if possible but I am looking for cheaper options. I wonder if you could tell me how much it would cost to have silver teeth instead? Could there be a significant saving if I decide to have silver crowns rather than gold crowns?
