    Cool Loose dental bridge

    please help . i had a bridge done in goa in jan 2010, however in is 12 teeth wide on the top and now it has become really lose, i think the alternavtive is to have denture? any advice would be welcome. please help? thank you

    Arrow Loose dental bridge

    Sounds like a very long span dental bridge. I would always try to avoid such a long span bridge design because if one tooth holding that bridge develops a problem it could compromise the whole 12 unit bridge.

    I always think its better to keep the bridge designs simple and as low span as possible and design for the possibility of future failure. Anyway now that the bridge is loose, it needs to be assessed to see why it is loose. Sometimes a loose bridge can just be recemented, othertimes it may need to be replaced with a denture, implant, new bridge,...
