Smile Can you change the shape of my teeth with Composite veneers?

    Hello

I have two pointed top canines and some really small front teeth which I hate and I always wanted my front teeth to be same length as my canines. I asked my own dentist to file down the canines but he says its too much and it will damage those teeth. Is it possible to change the shape of my front teeth with composite veneers so that they look the same length as my canines? I mean I don't want my teeth to be damaged but would like them to look better than they do at the moment. Is that possible?

Wink Can you change the shape of my teeth with Composite veneers?

    Thank you for your question.

Composite veneers can change the shape of your teeth without causing any damage to the underlying tooth. We do need to assess your bite to see if it is possible to add length to your front teeth using composite veneers. A certain amount of additional length might be possible for the incisors but it might also require a little enamelplasty on the canies if you wish these teeth to have similar lengths.
