Default teeth whitening and crown fitting

I've got a dark front tooth, which I'd like to cover with a ceramic crown, and also my teeth are quite yellow so I'm interested in whitening. Which procedure I should undergo first, and do you customise ceramic crowns so they would match someone's natural set ? I went to the general dentistry in London and the showed me a very rough, in shape and colour, ceramic crowns (yellow and white, basically, and much larger than my normal teeth).
    Thank you for answering

Talking teeth whitening and crown fitting

    Thank you for your post.

Generally speaking its better to whiten your teeth first and then add a crown/veneer to the discoloured front tooth. Colour matching a single front crown/veneer to the rest of the teeth is something that we ask the cosmetic lab to do but its very difficult to achieve 100% colour match. They dont always get it right, and sometimes we have to repeat the procedure until we get it right. If you whiten your other teeth first, the job becomes easier.
