Need a tooth extracted

Hello, my wife needs a tooth extracted. She will most probably need a general anesthetic as she has TMJ problems, and has only one TM joint. I doubt that she will be able to open wide enough without.

She is currently waiting for an NHS appointment for this, but if we were to bypass this and come to you:

1) What would be the cost?

2) How soon could it be done?


It is causing her a lot of problems.

We along with all other dental practices that I know, do not provide general anaesthetic for dental treatments. I think general anaesthetic is pretty much a treatment that you find in hospitals as it requires theaters and specialist support staff.

We however provide multiple drug deep IV sedation which is the closest thing you get to General anaesthetic without actually being made unconscious. Deep sedation costs £240 per hour and is provided by a specialist anaesthetist.
