    Exclamation Broken filling

    Hi

I was eating lunch today and noticed a chunk of filling fractured off my back lower tooth and now has left a hole in that tooth which I can feel with my tongue and it feels huge.

I would like to know if there is any temporary tooth treatments which I can do myself as I am currently on holiday in London. I am due to go back to Manchester next week and would be able to go back to see my own NHS dentist there for the proper treatment.

Is there any temporary solution that you can recommend for this broken filling? I am in no pain but I am worried that bacteria might get into this tooth.

    Wink Broken filling

You need to see a dentist and have a temporary filling placed on that tooth. I know some chemists sell temporary filling material but I do not recommend DIY dentistry as it can lead to worst problems for your tooth.
