Hi,
I had a temporary crown put on my two front teeth this morning. There was some bleeding and the dentist gave me injections to try and stop the bleeding. There was blood along the gum line when I left the surgery, but half an hour later my gums kept bleeding uncontrollably and now, 9 hours later it has eased up. I have been rinsing with warm salt water and applying pressure to the gums.
I'm very concerned as the blood appears to have seeped into the crowns - I can see they are slightly discoloured red. I am having the permanent crowns done on Friday, should I go back to the dentist before that as I'm really concerned about the blood being inside the temporary crowns?
Thank you
Vanessa
