Default Acid erosion on tooth tissue

    Hi,

My enamel on my teeth has eroded quite badly. I was wondering what treatment is there to get my enamel level back to normal? I have been using tooth pastes that help with protecting the enamel but is there any other treatment you provide to help with this problem?

Red face Acid erosion on tooth tissue

Thank you for your question. Unfortunately lost enamel can not regrow but it can be replaced with composite bonding which is conservative of the remaining tooth tissue and aesthetic. Porcelain too can also be used in certain circumstances to provide a great aesthetic result.

Prevention of further acid erosion damage of your teeth is very important and you have to look at your diet and habits to make sure that you prevent further acid damage.
