Hello
I had a fall last year and in that process fractured the tip of of my upper right incisor tooth. As I didn’t feel much pain early on I left it as it was without seeing a dentist. But I went to see my dentist when I noticed a swelling of my gum next to that tooth last week. He took an Xray of my tooth and said that the tooth needs further treatment.
The Xray showed that I have a incisor fracture but also showed that the tooth now has a tooth infection. Is there any treatment that will make the fractured incisor segment re-grow?
My dentist has recommended that I have a root filling on that tooth to deal with its infection but says that the tooth might become darker over time. Is there any treatment for this fractured incisor that will prevent it from darker?
