Is my body becoming immune to botox over time?

Hi

I have been having botox injections every three months or so for several years now. I usually have it around my eyes and in my forehead and the wrinkles disappear soon afterwards. The last few occasions I have noticed that the wrinkles seem to be coming back sooner and sooner. My doctor says he wont inject me any more botox drug than usual because he says I might becoming immune to botox. Do you think that my body is becoming resistant to botox or do you think I should be having botox more frequently?

Every time Botox is injected into the body, the body builds up antibodies against it and the more botox injections you have the higher the levels of antibodies that you will have in your body.

The solution is to have as lower dose of botox as possible injected when you do have botox injections and to have botox injected less often (ie. longer periods of time between injections) so that high levels of antibodies are not buildup against Botox.
