How long is the botox recovery time?

I need to have my forehead and eyes treated with botox injections but I am very busy at work and cant afford to take time off work. I have been told that botox is very quick and does not need any recovery time but I need to be sure of this before I have botox treatment. On average how long is the Botox recovery time and can I go back to work the next day?

There are no long recovery times with Botox treatment. Some people do get very minor swelling (lumps) on the injection sites but with some ice, these settle down within a few hours, and should not stop you from going back to work the next or even the same day.

There are some general risks involved with Botox that you need to be aware of, some of which may stop you from going back to work the next day, but these risks are minimal and we try to take as much care as possible to further minimise these risks to our patients. Some of these risks are listed below:

- Slight lowering of the eyelids (ptosis)
- Assymmetry of facial expression
- Facial pain post treatment
