What causes facial wrinkles?

I am interested in getting the Botox anti wrinkle treatment because I have several areas on my face where wrinkles have appeared. I don't know how these wrinkles have developed because I eat a good diet, I exercise every day and use anti-wrinkle creams and yet these facial wrinkles have developed. I would like to have a smooth young looking skin without wrinkles and I am worried that these wrinkles will be the start of even more wrinkles to come. Could you please tell me what causes facial wrinkles and how long the effects of botox will last in smoothing these wrinkles.

Wrinkles in our face appear as a result of normal facial expressions such as laughing as well as other factors such as sun damage, smoking and certain medications and wrinkles are part of the natural aging process.

Botox effects varies from patient to patient but usually it lasts around 4 months.
