    Unhappy Broken plate

    HI

I was eating lunch today and my top jaw plate cracked into two whilst I was eating a piece of meat. I tried to superglue my plate back together but it does not seem to hold and keeps breaking off again as I put it back in my mouth and try to eat food wit it.

It also now seems to not fit very well and I think I will need to have it repaired. Are you able to have this denture repaired today. I am going back to work on monday, so I will need it fixed this weekend. Are you able to repair it this weekend?

    Default Broken plate

    HI,

    Thank you for your question.

Yes we can repair dentures within 24 hour and in a lot of cases on the same day. If you come and see us first thing in the morning then by the late afternoon or evening your denture will be repaired and ready. Having said this it seems you will be needing a new denture and this time you may need a combination of plastic and metal denture to minimize the risk of fracture with your denture.
